Meet Dr. Pradeep Adatrow
Board Certified Periodontal and Dental Implant Surgeon & Prosthodontist
Dr. Pradeep Adatrow is the only practicing board-certified periodontist and prosthodontist in the southern United States, a distinction earned after 14 years of rigorous university education. With degrees from the University of Alabama and the University of Tennessee (DDS), he completed postdoctoral programs in Periodontal and Implant Surgery (MSD/Certificate) at Indiana University and Advanced Prosthodontics (MSD/Certificate) at the University of Tennessee.
Board-certified by the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry, Dr. Adatrow is one of only 10,000 professionals worldwide with this prestigious accolade. Before opening his practice in Southaven, he served as a full-time Professor and Director at the University of Tennessee for over 15 years, teaching Dental Implant Surgery and Surgical Prosthodontics. His numerous peer-reviewed publications, national and international presentations, and Continuing Education courses reflect his dedication to advancing oral health care, earning him accolades such as the Dean’s Junior Faculty Award and the John Diggs Faculty Award.

Dr. Jay Patel is a highly regarded periodontist known for his dedication to delivering exceptional dental care. He earned a Master of Public Health before advancing his education at the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was honored on the Dean’s List for academic excellence. He completed his Certification in Periodontics and residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, becoming a Board-Certified periodontist. His rigorous training and experience have equipped him to provide top-quality periodontal care.
Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Mississippi Dental Association. Through these affiliations, he stays at the forefront of advancements in the field, ensuring his patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments.
